The Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDO) is an outpatient clinic that provides cutting edge services to patients in the Central MA area. CANDO offers a variety of services for youth and young adults with emotional and behavioral challenges and complex presentations to get the support they need to reach their full potential. It is a collaborative effort between University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center, Department of Psychiatry at the UMass Chan Medical School and the Shriver Center.

The Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders needs your help! Your support will:

  • Help families looking for diagnostic clarification and treatment for their child
  • help provide ongoing psychopharmacologic treatment to youth with a variety of neurodevelopmental challenges
  • help provide the highest quality training to medical students and residents in the evaluation and treatment of individuals with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders
  • support children and their families in reaching their full potential via expert assessment and treatment
  • allows CANDO to have Family Support Partners who provide resources and assistance to families as they navigate various service provider systems
